Get self-help from Mcafee.com/activate Website

A wide range of free support services are available for all McAfee home-user products for Mac, PC, and mobile devices.

Free support options include:
Chat support
Chat support enables you to find answers anytime—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To chat with an Agent:
  1. Click the Contact Us page.
  2. Choose your country and preferred language.
  3. Click Technical Assistance.
  4. Choose the device that is having an issue:
  • PC
  • Mac
  • Mobile/Tablet
  1. Click Chat. Make a note of the Estimated wait time.
  2. Type the following:
     
    • Your first and last name
    • Your telephone number (to help us find your account)
    • Your email address
       
  3. In the Problem Description box, type your question.
  4. Click Continue. An agent replies within the estimated wait time.
Telephone support
Telephone-based Technical Support is also available. To get telephone support, follow the steps above, but click Phone instead of Chat when you get to step 5.

NOTE: Telephone support is not available to customers using free McAfee products.

When you need help with McAfee products, always go to the official McAfee websites. Use the links shown in the free support options section above. These links are the best way to avoid scam websites that McAfee does not endorse and are not affiliated with McAfee, but which claim to offer Technical Support for McAfee products. In reality, some of these websites try to charge you a large amount of money for poor or non-existent Technical Support.
Also, scam websites try to charge you to install a McAfee product on your PC. Remember, McAfee offers free Technical Support to customers who have a valid McAfee product subscription. Why pay for support, or give your credit card details to a website that might be a scam website, when McAfee provides free support?
